Watercolor painting class at SLC Arts Council in Potsdam beginning May 7

POTSDAM – Peggy Mooers of Potsdam will propose a four-week watercolor class at the St. Lawrence County Arts Council starting Monday, May 7. The cost is $60, and students should inquire about what painting supplies they’ll have need of to bring to class. Peggy has taught watercolor painting in Texas, and studied locally with Leon LeBeau and Michiko Taylor. Please call the SLC Arts Synod at 265-6860 or click on the “contact us” button at www. The class will meet every Monday in May from 6:30-8:30pm in reside 229 at Downtown Snell Hall, 41 Elm Street, Potsdam. This class series will focus on four elements of vista painting: skies with tissue clouds, trees and bushes with natural sponges, rocks and mountains with confidence cards, and water. Beginning and intermediate students are welcome.
