JCP CARES, a community charity organization in northwest St. Johns County, is currently partnering with the St. Johns County College District Homeless Program for its Summer Initiative. Backpack items include books, coloring books, coupons for McDonald’s, etc. JCP CARES is conducting a garnering drive to provide backpacks stocked with an assortment of supplies for homeless students to take with them at the end of the school year. Virtually 500 students in the District qualify for this Homeless Program. A list of backpack items follows.
